Connect the Dots | August | Week 4

The Bible is one incredible book made up of 66 smaller books. Each one was inspired by God and written by different men, in different places, at different times throughout history. Together, they tell the thrilling story of God and His relationship with His people.

What’s truly amazing is that although these books were written over a span of more than 1,500 years, they fit together perfectly to tell one beautiful story—God’s BIG story: Creation, Fall, Promise, Jesus, and Church.

Creation, fall, promise….

“I will bless you… and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.”

That is a BIG promise God gave to Abraham! A man well advanced in years with no children being told his descendants will outnumber the stars in the sky?! Preposterous! Crazy! Impossible!

But God.

Even bigger than this promise is the amazing way God fulfilled it through His son Jesus!

God keeps His promises!

Genesis 12:1-9
Genesis 15:1-7

What did everyone hear?

Create a piece of art inspired by stars.

In your backyard or on a walk, observe the stars. Imagine how it would feel to be promised more offspring than there are stars!

Have a dance party to praise music–praise God for His promises!
