Series Overview
The Bible is God’s Word. Every person mentioned in its pages is there on purpose, for a purpose. And sometimes people have the same name and we mix them up, or we aren’t sure what a person did, or we have never even heard his or her name! In this series, we’re going to dig into God’s Word to look at commonly mixed up or overlooked people to learn “Who’s Who in the Bible!”
Lesson Overview
Each of the four Gospels makes mention of Barabbas—the guilty man released. This act in turn kept Jesus imprisoned and headed to the cross.
Barnabas loved Jesus and was committed to sharing Him with everyone—particularly Gentiles!
Similar names seemingly being the only thing they have in common.
But as we examine their stories, we see both were equally in need of Jesus’s sacrifice!
