Wilco Women’s Center (June 2026 Update)

Church family, we are excited to share an update from one of our local ministry partners, the Wilco Women’s Center!

Since 1997, the Wilco Women’s Center has been a pillar of care in the Georgetown area, serving moms and families facing unplanned or difficult pregnancies. They provide a safe space where any mother can find hope—whether she is a crisis-facing mom considering an abortion or a mother who needs a little extra help to get by.

The center surrounds these families with spiritual and emotional support, parenting education, and vital material resources like diapers, clothes, wipes, cribs, and car seats to ensure they feel deeply loved and equipped for the early stages of parenting.

A Historic Milestone: The Ultrasound Program

After 28 years of faithful service, the center is celebrating a massive praise report. The Lord has provided the doors, resources, and staffing to officially launch their brand-new ultrasound medical program!

This program is currently run by three dedicated nurses, with a fourth joining the team very soon. This medical addition is a literal game-changer for vulnerable mothers in Williamson County.

“Ultrasounds are such an important, life-saving tool. Statistics show that 80% to 90% of women choose life when they see that little heartbeat and that baby on the screen, knowing they are growing that child inside of them.” — Sarah Bolton, Executive Director

This medical breakthrough was made entirely possible through the generous giving of local believers, and it will continue to protect the most vulnerable in our community for years to come.

How We Can Help

Wilco Women’s Center was originally started by a small group of local churches, and today, that network has grown to 24 church partners. As the Georgetown and Williamson County areas continue to grow at a rapid pace, our partnership is more critical than ever.

Here is how we can continue standing with them right now:

  • The Baby Bottle Campaign! This is the center’s biggest event of the year, funding nearly 50% of their annual budget. If you brought back a baby bottle on Sunday, June 21, thank you! If you still have yours or even if you didn’t get to fill it up as much as you wanted, please be sure to bring baby bottles back this Sunday, June 28, no matter how full. This is a huge blessing!
  • Pray for the three (soon-to-be four) nurses operating the ultrasound machines, and pray for the hearts of the mothers who walk through those doors.
  • Follow Wilco Women’s Center on Facebook to stay up to date on their ministry initiatives and ways to serve throughout the year.

Thank you, Antioch Georgetown family, for your continued prayers, blessings, and donations that allow us to link arms with life-saving ministries right here in our city!
