Series Overview
The Armor of God is not armor we can see with our eyes. But it is REAL armor that helps us each day as we learn to live more like Christ. And just like the fruit of the Spirit is singular (several words to describe the one fruit we receive from the Holy Spirit), so too is the Armor of God one suit, and we are to put on each individual piece every day.
Lesson Overview
The bible tells about a king named Solomon. He loved God. God asked “Solomon, what shall I give you? Just ask!” King Solomon could have asked for riches, long life, or abundance but he asked for something different… Solomon asked to be wise.
And God made him wise! But his exemplary story ends as a cautionary tale. 1 Kings 11 tells us that over time Solomon began to follow other gods. God made him wise but he chose not to continue using that wisdom. Solomon let his heart forget all that God had done for him. He needed his helmet back!
