As Academy 4 prepares to launch across 60 campuses in just a few weeks, we are entering this season with great expectation! Through our partnership with Cooper Elementary, we are asking God to move mightily in the lives of 4th graders through the loving care of dedicated mentors.
Ephesians 3:20 reminds us that God can do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,” and we are already seeing Him move beyond our expectations. Across the ministry, God recently inspired a mentor to learn Spanish to serve where the need was critical, and led a local school counselor to find community and a home within a partner church body. God is actively changing lives, and we can’t wait to see what He will do through our church family this year!
Cooper Elementary Ministry Update
We are thrilled to share that our primary mentor recruitment goals for Cooper Elementary have been met!
- Total Mentors Needed: 87
- Returning Mentors: 59
- New Mentors Registered: 28
- Remaining Mentors to Invite: 0 🎉
Current Need: While our primary mentor slots are filled, we still need 4–5 sub-mentors to step in when regular mentors are unable to make a session.
How You Can Get Involved:
- Pray: Pray for our 4th graders, teachers, and mentors as they kick off their first session this Friday, September 11.
- Become a Sub-Mentor: If you can’t commit monthly but want to serve as needed, sign up to fill one of our 4–5 sub-mentor roles.
- Bless Our Teachers: Keep an eye out for ways to encourage the teaching staff at Cooper Elementary, using their “favorite forms” throughout the school year.
