We are thrilled to share an encouraging update from our ministry partner, Africa New Life, in Kageyo A! Pastor Senyange John recently reached out to give thanks for the amazing ways God is moving in their church and neighborhood during these first few months of 2026.
Here are a few exciting praises and specific prayer requests straight from Pastor John:
Praises from Kageyo A
- 200 Students Sponsored: Around 200 students received sponsors this year. Because of this support, families who previously couldn’t afford school fees now have the resources and supplies needed to send their children to school.
- Church Reopened & Growing: After being unable to gather for nearly a year and a half, the local church has officially reopened. Even government leaders have praised the new, well-equipped church building as a model for the community.
- Over 500 Gathering Weekly: Every Sunday, more than 500 believers now fill the building to worship together!
Urgent Prayer Requests
- A New Baptistry: With the church open and thriving, about 80 new believers are eagerly waiting to be baptized. However, the current baptistry has been damaged and destroyed. Please pray with us that a new, proper baptistry can be built so these believers can publicly declare their faith.
- Rain for the Land: The region is currently suffering from a prolonged drought. Please join us in praying for God to send rain so the crops and local community can flourish.
