Connect the Dots | April | Week 1

Jesus’s words are ALWAYS true, and we can trust Him for who He says He is.

In the book of John, Jesus makes seven powerful I AM statements. Each statement testifies to a powerful way that Jesus provides and cares for us.

As we explore each one leading into the Easter season, we pray that we each see more fully the gift we receive in Jesus’ death on the cross!

The resurrection is what we celebrate on Easter! Jesus came to Earth as a baby. And when He was an adult, Jesus died on the cross for each one of us. Jesus was buried in a tomb with a HUGE stone rolled in front of it! On the third morning, the stone was moved aside and Jesus was no longer in the tomb. Jesus was alive!! He had resurrected!

Resurrection means to live again after death! Before Jesus died, he told people that He was the resurrection! On Easter, we celebrate that Jesus was resurrected and anyone who follows Him can have life after death, too!

Listen to Thank You, Jesus for the Blood by Charity Gayle. What did everyone hear in the lyrics?

Can you find any Bible passages that back up the lyrics?

As a family, write a poem about Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross and the resurrection! If you feel like sharing, we’d love to read your poem!

Turn on your favorite praise and worship playlist and have a family worship time!
