Series Overview
The birth of Jesus was God’s plan from the beginning! We can see this more fully as we look at each Gospel’s account of the Christmas Story! We can see the prophecy fulfilled (Mark); how Jesus was the Word made flesh (John); how God protected the lineage for 42 generations to ordain the birth of Christ (Matthew); and finally, the glorious night our Savior was born (Luke)! His birth truly is Good News of GREAT JOY!
Lesson Overview
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! This last month we reflected on each Gospel’s account of Jesus’s birth. No matter what month or year the calendar shows, the Truth remains unchanged: Jesus was born as a baby to one day die as the perfect sacrifice for each of our sins.
Jesus loves each of us so much to humbly come as a baby. And that same love held Him on the cross to make a way for each of us to enjoy eternity with the Father.
