Connect the Dots | February | Week 4

We can understand the gospel message, even have accepted Jesus as our Savior, and still be confused over certain words. In this series, we’ll dig into some common ones to help define some hard-to-understand words. When we understand confusing or unfamiliar words, we can better grasp God’s Word and grow deeper in our faith.

Looking back at Exodus, God’s people are wandering around the desert grumbling. God heard their grumbling and fed his people with manna—or bread. Each day, they would wake up, and there was enough bread for that day. God took care of His people by giving them what they needed each day—their bread to eat!

Moving to the New Testament, Jesus says “I am the bread.” Jesus is what we need every single day to help us honor God! God it still taking care of His people’s daily needs—instead of giving us bread each day, we can have Jesus every day!
