Fully loving God isn’t just about head knowledge, or a change of heart, or action steps with our hands. But when we combine our knowledge of God, with our new heart He provides, and loving others through our actions, we can fully express and experience the Love of God!
Lesson Overview
Luke 2:41-49 tells us about a time Jesus’ mom and dad couldn’t find Him. They looked for three days and finally found Him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions. No one could believe how well He understood what they were teaching.
His parents asked Him why He didn’t travel with them, and Jesus replied: “The most important thing is for me to learn all I can about God, my Father.” What a beautiful example Jesus gave us about where to focus our attention!
