Series Overview
This summer, we are looking at 7 of the names of God! Each name of God gives us a new layer into the ways He provides and cares for us! Each name describes another aspect of God’s character, helping us see just how perfect and complete God really is!
Lesson Overview
When we hear the word jealous it often carries a negative connotation; a trait we do not want to have. But God is called El Kanna, which means jealous. One definition of jealous is: “demanding faithfulness and exclusive worship” (Oxford Languages). As our Elohim (Creator), God rightfully demands both our exclusive faithfulness and worship. It is this righteous jealousy that El Kanna embodies!

PONDER
What things can become idols for your family (anything elevated above God)?
OBSERVE
God wants us to look for Him (Acts 17:27). Start a family list of God Sightings! Where do you see God (in nature, in situations, etc)?
PRAISE
Praise God through prayer and song for who He is! You can even have a dance party of praise!
