Connect the Dots | JULY WK 4

This summer, we are looking at 7 of the names of God! Each name of God gives us a new layer into the ways He provides and cares for us! Each name describes another aspect of God’s character, helping us see just how perfect and complete God really is!

Psalm 23 can be found on mugs, shirts, bags, and frames. The familiarity of it can make it easy to forget or even miss the profound message it contains.

The livelihood, health, and well-being of sheep was dependent 100% on the diligence and care of their shepherd. Left to their devices, sheep will over graze a field, drink stagnant water, and wander a great deal off course. But a good shepherd ensures plenty of food, refreshing water, and the correct path based on the weather and terrain. What a gift we have in our Good Shepherd, Jehovah-Raah!

Using recycled items or craft supplies, make a sheet art piece.

Psalm 95:7, 119:176, Ezekiel 34:11-16, Matthew 9:36, 18:12-14, John 10:1-16, 27-30, Luke 15:3-7, 19:10, Isaiah 40:11, 1 Peter 2:25

What did you hear in these verses? Why do you think God used the image of sheep so much?

Print the words of Psalm 23 and say it as a family daily for a month. How much can you say without looking?
