For the next 7 weeks, we will be looking at Jesus’ own words from the book of Matthew with our new series, The Jesus Way! Jesus didn’t just teach ideas, he lived out His own words! We’ll see this as we continue in Matthew through Easter and examine the events from Palm Sunday through the Resurrection!
Lesson Overview
Love God. Love your neighbor as yourself. These ideas can seem easy enough to check off our lists… But what about loving our enemies? Loving someone who persecutes us? This can feel harder to live out daily. And yet, Jesus was clear in His teaching and his actions. May this not simply be one more box to check but a fundamental shift in our everyday!

What does persecute mean? What does loving them mean?
PRAY
Ask God to give your family His eyes to love others as He does!
CREATE
Create a drawing that shows how we love others from the love we receive from God!
