Connect the Dots | NOVEMBER WK 1

We use the word ‘awesome’ to describe a lot of things: our favorite food, plans we are excited about, and when we learn how to do something new. While other things can be exciting, good, and mind-blowing, nothing can truly inspire AWE except the wonders and things of God! He is AWEsome

The Bible asks, what if a shepherd had 100 sheep and lost one? Do you think the shepherd would just keep going with the 99 sheep he still has?!

The Bible says that he would go searching for that one lost sheep! Because the shepherd knows the sheep needs his help and could be in trouble. This is what it means to pursue! To follow after to bring back to safety!

This is how God acts with us! God is our shepherd and He pursues us to bring us back to safety!

Read Luke 15:3-7 and Luke 15:11-32

What is the definition of pursue? How does pursuit look different in each of the passages?

How would you feel to be the one lost sheep?

How about being one of the 99?

Play a family game of hide and seek! Who had the best hiding place?
