Series Overview
The Bible is one incredible book made up of 66 smaller books. Each one was inspired by God and written by different men, in different places, at different times throughout history. Together, they tell the thrilling story of God and His relationship with His people.
What’s truly amazing is that although these books were written over a span of more than 1,500 years, they fit together perfectly to tell one beautiful story—God’s BIG story: Creation, Fall, Promise, Jesus, and Church.
Lesson Overview
In the book of Acts, Peter shares boldly that those people desiring to follow Jesus should repent & be baptized. Then Peter shared wonderful news. He said God’s promise wasn’t just for the people listening that day. It was for their children… and for people far away. God’s promise is for us today, too!
Anyone who trusts in Jesus can be forgiven & become part of God’s family. This is how the church began! Remember, the church isn’t just a building. The church is God’s people! Everyone who loves and follows Jesus is part of God’s big family!
