Fully loving God isn’t just about head knowledge, or a change of heart, or action steps with our hands. But when we combine our knowledge of God, with our new heart He provides, and loving others through our actions, we can fully express and experience the Love of God!
Lesson Overview
John 13 tells us about when Jesus serves His disciples by washing their feet. Such a beautiful picture of servanthood from our Savior! And also a powerful image of the complete cleansing power of Jesus’ blood on the cross!
Our sins are not final; they have been paid for and removed. And because of that gift, and Jesus’ servanthood example, we are to serve those around us in the same way!

Read John 13:1-17 in 3-4 different translations. Does anything change or stand out in each?
SERVE
Take some time to gather supplies and take turns washing one another’s feet. Can you imagine Jesus doing this for you?
PRAY
Go on a walk and pray for your neighbors to know the truth of Christ this year!
