Series Overview
Jesus’ own words tell us why He taught in parables: “Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.” (Matthew 13:11)
The “them” in this verse are those with hard hearts who rejected Jesus; those who wanted to see more signs and miracles but refused Jesus’ message. To you who have eyes to see, the parables are beautiful stories that teach powerful lessons about Jesus being the ONE way to God’s Kingdom!

Sometimes we think small things can’t have an impact—but Jesus has a different perspective!
Mustard seeds are teeny tiny seeds. And they grow to provide a home for birds?! Yeast is itsy bitsy grains but it spreads and grows throughout an entire loaf.
Small things with Jesus can have a MASSIVE impact! Sharing the truth of Jesus with one person, praying for someone, helping someone in need—small act… massive impact!
