It Started with a Vision

Our story actually begins in Conway, AR (a town similar to Georgetown, just North of Little Rock) where a growing and thriving church, Antioch Conway, caught a vision to start a new church.  In 2015 plans were put into motion to begin the process of church planting.  Over the next two years, God brought together a team of 25 adults who where  willing to find new jobs, make new friends, and start a new life in the well-loved city of Georgetown.

From Vision to Reality

In the summer of 2017, this Spirit-led team took the leap of faith and made Georgetown their new home. The top priorities for the first few months were learning the Georgetown culture and developing relationships with people in the community. There were many unanswered questions, but one thing was for sure, God led us here for a reason. We began to see God answer several prayers as He grew us forward to the next phase of our church.

Launching Antioch Georgetown

August 27, 2017 - We held our very first Preview Service at Carver Elementary with 97 in attendance. These monthly preview services throughout the Fall of 2017 gave our community the chance to preview who we are and what we’re about. We taught on the five marks of our church culture: people matter, life-change, genuine faith, and creativity.

January 21, 2018 - Antioch Georgetown officially launched weekly services at Carver Elementary with 165 attending the first service. We also began our very first series, End of the Rope.

Not Beyond Our Reach

Our mission has never been to simply start another worship service in Georgetown. We're here to lead people to follow Christ in a life-changing way. Our mission hasn’t changed. However, the vision to plant a church is just beginning. Our God-sized vision is to be a church that reaches Georgetown and beyond, and we have God confidence that it’s not beyond our reach. (Deut. 30:11)
